in parts of egypt, particularly around rural cairo, widows, elderly people, and families with little income are struggling to secure even basic food. 

it’s easy to feel helpless in the face of that, but Allah SWT multiplies what we give. what feels small to us can be heavy on the scales with Him.

Allah SWT says in the Quran:
 “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.” (2:261).

may Allah accept your sadaqah, purify your wealth, and make it a means of protection for you in this life and the next.

may He place barakah in what you give, expand your provision, and allow your charity to shade you on the Day when there is no shade but His. 

quiet acts of provision travel further than we see.
